THE Bible is the story of a marriage. . .
...IT TRULY IS! ...You see...There has never been a time, not a moment, within the heart of God when we were not the intended Bride of Christ, being prepared and made ready for a wondrous, mysterious union with the Son of God! We...the collective, united, redeemed bride...the true church...as the Bible foretells!

The Bible is the heart of God made readable. Its pages contain the story of God loving and wooing, forgiving and perfecting, His delicate and beautiful bride. Each book from Genesis to Revelation, presents a unique aspect or partial-picture of a very...long...engagement, starting at Genesis in the garden with Adam and Eve, and culminating in The Revelation with the radiant, victorious Groom and His prized, blood-bought bride. That Bride, was intended to include YOU, my friend.

So...If your decision in life is to become a part of that bride you will one day find yourself surrounded by myriads of celebrating, singing angels before the throne of the Father, in a heavenly wedding...THE WEDDING of the AGES.

Scripture is love's true story; an allegoric, yet clear picture of a good God laying His heart bear for us to understand and see how He loves us and how to enter into that love. The saga begins and ends with a wedding. All that unfolds between Genesis and Revelations...all the tears and dreams of earth-life, all of our hopes and the journey toward life-everlasting; even the trials and temptations...our failures too...ALL things pertain to, are validated by, and rightly understood ONLY, ONLY, ONLY, within the context of the mysterious heavenly marriage.

That is why love is so big...so huge...why it occupies so much of our time and money and energy...literally making the world go 'round! It consumes us and was meant to do so as it is rightly understood. It is CENTRAL to God's reason for creating man!

Here's how it starts...in Genesis man is produced, as God-formed, God-breathed, God-loved...commissioned...and...ALONE. Now, (for our benefit,) God observes and summarizes aloud, the state of man by this declaration, 'It is NOT GOOD for man to be ALONE!'

Think about that for just a moment!...God has spoken His first negative words! ...that...MAN WAS ALONE, and THAT IT WAS NOT GOOD!

This often under-estimated statement was not made simply to reveal the loneliness of Adam, (after all Adam had no say in the matter.) It was in fact the deliberate action of God to create man alone in order to set the stage for our imagination in order to exalt the purposes of marriage. God has formed a prophetic picture to introduce life's ultimate purpose...that one day, man's aloneness would be forever ended by the most unimaginable marriage. This first tender action of providing Adam with the astonishing formation of Eve, (from his own rib,) indicated the importance of wedded union, foreshadowing the higher purpose of the ages...our ultimate union with Father God through marriage to His Son.

The apostle Paul says that it is by means of the lessons of natural things that God reveals much of the truth about spiritual things. The marriage of persons is the ultimate natural lesson out of which is nurtured the ultimate spiritual purpose...our becoming one with God.

Marriage is all about love. Love is all about shared life. Within the adventure and struggle of shared life, faith and hope happen. These eternal qualities cover all of life's drama and decisions. It is through these eternal mediums that man must temper the choices he makes toward God, God's Son, and also toward his fellow man; for the marriage is to one united bride.

Marriage is a test of faithfulness. It is the proving grounds of love and relationship. Jesus said that it is REQUIRED that a servant be found faithful. Marriage reveals the challenges and rewards of such faithfulness.

There is nothing on earth that can be known about God without that eternal gem of divine revelation passing directly or indirectly through the filtering process presented by marriage. You see, there are immeasurably vast and infinite truths to be made known and embraced concerning who God is and what He is like.

Therefore, for us, those who have made themselves ready; who await the trumpet call and the announcement from the ecstatic voice of the Groom, for us there is nothing worth knowing, outside of the context of marriage!

In Life there is nothing greater than to be a part of the bride...the object of His attention...affection...celebration...the object of His passion, his redeeming death, the dowry price, the resurrection, all of these divine acts and gifts...limitless to consider. To be the Bride, the heavenly Eve, the church - now forgiven, betrothed and soon to be united to Love Himself..."even so, Come Lord Jesus!"

"Lo, I am coming very soon...Come say the Spirit and the Bride: let the hearer too say come...and let the thirsty COME!"
